The SC232 converts an RS232 interface into RS485.
Depending on the model the RS485 interface is isolated or not.
The RS485 interface can be matched and polarised by built-in resistors and can be selected by switch.		 The SC232-6 model facilitates the use of GSM modems with PLC’s: It provides power to the GSM, connects to it using a RS232 cable, is equipped with an on-off switch for access security, and converts the RS232 interface into RS485.
