Failsafe ring

 

 
The failsafe ring function keeps the network operational if one fiber optic link fails (TX or RX or both).
It is compatible with asynchronous field bus protocols like PROFIBUS DP, MODBUS, UNITELWAY, DH-485, SYSMAC-WAY
If a failure occurs , the alarm output of the «ring master» module is closed as well as the alarm outputs of the modules connected to the F.O. in failure.
