New product : Remote access server RAS-M156 (July 2006)

The new RAS-M156 remote access server allows users remote access to a local Ethernet TCP/IP Lan via the telephone network.
It permits the machine's manufacturers to remotely maintain a group of machines connected to an ethernet Lan and the PLCs user to consult the web servers built into the PLCs or a network PC.
Particular attention has been paid to security:
The RAS-M156 server keeps a list of authorised users and offers the security call-back function if necessary
It also has a built-in firewall which limits the IP domain and the applications accessible to them. Thus, for example, one user may only be allowed to consult the PLC's web server and the web cams whereas another may have access to the maintenance programming of a specific PLC or a PC SCADA software.
The RAS-M156 has a built-in V90 modem and works on all telephone networks across the five continents.

MODEMVIEW software to simplify the remote maintenance of PLCs

Our MODEMVIEW software is aimed at those who take care of the remote maintenance of PLC programming via the telephone or GSM networks.
It is particularly useful when a large number of PLC's are subject to remote maintenance. If your client is having problems with his equipment you want to be able to provide immediate support without worrying about the technicalities; what number do i have dial to reach his PLC in Brazil? What type of connection does he have? etc. ModemView takes care of all of these questions leaving you free to concentrate on important part: The programming of your clients PLC.
Modemview consists of an address book in which the contact details of every one of your clients machines is listed as well as all connection details. In a click of a button you can be connected your clients PLC. Then all you need to do to is start the application you want to use (PLC programming software for Siemens, Schneider, Omron, Rockwell....) and you can start finding the solutions as if you were there yourself.
As well as an address book ModemView includes a modem configuration and connection testing tool.
Modemview is supplied with the ETIC modems MTI133 (RTC) or MGI196 (GSM).
