Function
The IPL-E router enables automated devices to be connected securely over IP networks, whether it be a local, factory or company network, an Intranet, extranet or Internet.

IIt is at the same time an IP router, a VPN client & server to authenticate and encypt data, a firewall to filter IP frames, and a remote access server.

Router
also includes an IP to asynchronous gateway to integrate existing asynchronous terminals to the IP network.

Firewall
The IPL_E is also a firewall which filters IP frames according to the source and destination IP addresses and port numbers.




Serial gateway
also includes an IP to asynchronous gateway to integrate existing asynchronous terminals to the IP network.
