The IB512 leased
line back-up unit provides ISDN back-up for digital leased lines with data
rates up to 2 Mbps.
It can also be used to back-up radio or satellite links. A data rate of
up to 512 kbps is possible on the ISDN back-up.
The IB512 is inserted on the leased line and has four ISDN BRI/S0 ports. |

It continuously
monitors leased line operation and switches automatically to the ISDN link
in the event of line failure. Once the quality of the leased line is restored,
the IB512 switches back to it. The IB512 unit can be managed remotely via
the ISDN line. |
